The mission of the Service is to identify, prevent, and MISSION:To effectively protect the fundamental rights and freedoms of citizens, society and the state against risks and threats to state security, while promoting the democratic values and national interests of the Republic of Moldova.

OBJECTIVES:
- Collecting intelligence relevant to the national security of the Republic of Moldova, providing state authorities with a basis for decision-making;
- Providing early warning of security risks, threats and challenges, including those affecting the sovereignty, independence and integrity of the country;
- Producing strategic assessments of the national, regional and international security environment.

VISION: A flexible and reliable Service that performs its state security function effectively and transparently, holds a strong position among the institutions of the national security sector, and ranks among the leading intelligence services of the regional European community.
