He was appointed Director of the Security and Intelligence Service of the Republic of Moldova by the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova on 2 June 2022.
He served as Principal State Adviser on anti-corruption matters in the Prime Minister’s Office and as a member of the Central Electoral Commission. Between 2013 and 2020, he held various positions at the Soros Foundation-Moldova, including Director of the Good Governance Department.
He holds a Master’s degree in European Political Studies awarded by the College of Europe (Bruges, Belgium). In 2013, he graduated from the University of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova with a Master’s degree in Political Science, specializing in National Security. In 2010, he graduated from Perspectiva-INT University with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, specializing in European Studies.
