Following the statements of the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the Security and Intelligence Service confirms that we received the respective information from our Ukrainian partners.
At the same time, we mention that the SIS carries out operational measures to elucidate any attempts to destabilize the situation in the country and cooperates closely with its partner intelligence services.
In this context, the SIS confirms that subversive activities, aimed to undermine the Republic of Moldova, destabilize and violate public order, were identified based on both information presented by our Ukrainian partners and operational activity of the SIS.
At the moment, we cannot provide more details as there is a risk of jeopardizing various ongoing operational activities.
We assure the citizens of the Republic of Moldova that all state institutions are working at full capacity and will not allow these challenges to happen.
