BOARD OF THE SECURITY AND INTELLIGENCE SERVICE OF THE REPUBLIC OF MOLDOVA
The Board is the supreme control and management body of the Security and Intelligence Service, which approves concepts and adopts decisions on the most important issues of the Service, determines the priority directions of subdivisions' activity.
The Board operates based on plan, and the order of preparing and holding the Board's meeting, the preparation of decisions are determined by Regulation of the Board of the Security and Intelligence Service of the Republic of Moldova.
Legal framework for the Board's activity is the Constitution of the Republic of Moldova, the Law on the Security and Intelligence Service of the Republic of Moldova, the Law on State Security, the Law on state security bodies, the Decrees of the President of the Republic of Moldova, the Decisions of Parliament and Government, the Orders and Indications of SIS Director, the Board's Decisions, other laws and departmental regulations governing the operative investigations.
