During the first semester of 2020, the Security and Intelligence Service of the Republic of Moldova received 215 petitions. Of the total number, 135 petitions were addressed by individuals, 60 by legal entities, 9 collective petitions, and 11 anonymous. We also note that 7 requests concern access to information, while 33 are public interest requests.
The most common issues raised by petitioners include: alleged irregularities within the central public authorities, especially in the National Army, penitentiary institutions, as well as the illegal actions of employees of the justice system (prosecutors, judges, bailiffs).
In the first 6 months of this year, the leadership of the Security and Intelligence Service had an audience with 6 people.
