The Security and Intelligence Service took part in the “Reviving the Philharmonic Hall, reviving together” campaign, contributing with a donation of 392 thousand lei.
Intelligence officers hope that they will contribute with this civic gesture to accelerating the reconstruction process of one of the most important cultural and artistic institutions in the country, so this symbol of national values continues to promote well-known personalities of musical culture and to delight art lovers as soon as possible.
The National Philharmonic Hall has a rich history of over 80 years, which includes the debut of some of the most representative musical groups, including the ensembles "Joc", "Fluieraş", "Lăutarii", valuable artists such as Timofei Gurtovoi, Veronica Garștea, Boris Miliutin, Dumitru Goia, Ghita Strahilevici, Serghei Lunchevici, Vladimir Curbet, Victor Copacinschi, Nicolae Botgros, Nicolae Sulac, Tamara Ciobanu, Zinaida Julea, as well as many other famous names.
The money was transferred to the account of the Ministry of Finance, opened to collect funds for the reconstruction of the “Serghei Lunchevici” National Philharmonic Hall, devastated by a fire on 24 September 2020.
