Security and Intelligence Service Welcomes a New Generation of Officers, Graduates of “Bogdan, Întemeietorul Moldovei” Institute

The graduation ceremony of the 20th class of intelligence officers was marked today, July 9, at the National Institute of Intelligence and Security “Bogdan, Întemeietorul Moldovei” (NIIS) of the SIS. The festivity took place in the presence of the SIS leadership and professors.

 

Serghei Dulghieri, the head of the Director’s Office, congratulated the young officers for the results achieved during the academic year and for becoming part of a system that represents one of the most important pillars of national security in the Republic of Moldova. He wished them much success in their work, noting that the institution has high hopes for the new generation. Mr. Dulghieri said he was convinced that the accomplishment of the missions lies in the contribution of each employee, while the peace and security of the citizen, society and the state is guaranteed by the altruism, effort and responsibility of intelligence officers.

 

The SIS leaders expressed gratitude to the teaching staff for their prodigious work, vocation and dedication to teaching young intelligence specialists. Likewise, the SIS leaders thanked parents and family members of the graduates for their support and understanding offered in the process of pursuing the career of intelligence officer.

 

Vitalie Sîli, rector of the NIIS, wished the graduates to put into practice the gained knowledge and to continue to develop their skills, in order to achieve professional performances. Also, he urged them to contribute at the highest standards to national security missions.

 

At the end of the festivity, the intelligence officers received graduation certificates. They will be assigned to the SIS departments according to their specialized training, where young officers will benefit from the support of the experienced colleagues.
