"Ensuring national security and protecting human rights in a democratic society" was the topic of a round table, organized by the National Institute of Intelligence and Security "Bogdan, Întemeietorul Moldovei" on December 9.
The event was carried out in partnership with the People's Advocate Office and the Center for Security Studies and Crisis Management.
The meeting provided a discussion platform for security and human rights researchers and experts, who debated several issues related to these fields. Also, the participants discussed topics regarding the protection of human rights in terms of national security and proposed effective measures to regulate them.
Moreover, the scientific forum contributed to establishment of new relationships that will promote the security culture in society and will boost the exchange of experience and best practices regarding the protection of fundamental human rights and freedoms.
