In accordance with the Decision no.1 of 22.10.2021 of the Commission for Emergency Situations of the Republic of Moldova, the Security and Intelligence Service identified the website geopolitika.ro that promoted fake news.
One of the published articles promoted false information about the reasons of the energetic crisis of the Republic of Moldova in the natural gas sector: “New authority from Chișinău decided to risk that Moldovans freeze over winter only to argue with Russia”/ “Big minds of the USA together with other from Ukraine found the formula to bankrupt Gazprom: to stop the gas supplies from Russia to Moldova”.
In this context, the SIS requests the online portals that shared/ published the mentioned information to delete it.
