Safety Culture – Promoted Among Students by the SIS
During April – May 2017, the SIS Antiterrorist Center carries out a series of activities in the field of security education at several higher education institutions from the country.
On this occasion, the security and intelligence officers will organize a set of conferences and round tables for students, aimed to inform them about the terrorism evolution and its current trends, along with the role and tasks of the SIS in terrorism prevention and countering. Also, the SIS officers will present the activity of the Antiterrorist Center (public authority responsible for immediate terrorism prevention and countering), as well as rules/ recommendations to follow in case of terrorist crisis.
By means of such measures, the SIS intends to promote safety culture among young people and to make the cooperation with civil society more efficient, in order to counteract terrorist danger.
